Meet The Owners + Their Corgis
Welcome to the official Fetch & Stay inspired blog! Here you will find all things dogs. Recommendations, veterinary education, tips, hacks, advice, and much more. We love to share with our followers & this is seemingly easier than a lengthy instagram post. But first….
Let’s meet the fam.
I’m Taylor:
Corgi mom + co-founder + social media coordinator of Fetch & Stay plus a Registered Veterinary Technician + wife to Blake. As you just read, I have been an RVT since 2013 & an avid dog lover my whole life - bringing strays home ever since I can remember (sorry mom). Dogs are my passion & educating dog lovers & owners alike is my calling. I am a lover of all these lists, organization, mexican food, & outdoors. I love my family, my pups, amazon prime, and sharing the veterinary knowledge + recommendations i’ve learned along the way. Fetch & Stay has been a dream & has ultimately brought me way past my comfort zone & into allowing myself to dream big. Nothing is too far-fetched (see what I did there).
Moxon: Moxon is a Texas boy, straight from the Canton Flea Market, & after a DNA we learned he is actually a Boston Chorgidor (Thats half corgi, half boston terrier, labrador, and chow). I am a firm believer in we do not choose dogs, they choose us – I will be forever indebted to that little nub-butt for choosing us that day. He changed our lives. He is our sensitive, fun-loving, charismatic, gentle little budders.
Maelee: The best & only purchase I have ever made from Craigslist. This girl was listed as “Needing to be re-homed” she was 2 years old & there were 2 pictures both of which she was sleeping. I knew she was the one. We loaded up that weekend and headed to a gas station in Asher, Oklahoma to pick up our girl. She was nervous, overweight, and in obvious need of a little unconditional love, patience, and time to trust us. She was the best thing for Moxon’s separation anxiety. After getting her down a few pounds & slowly but surely allowing her to come out of her shell she completed our little family. Our little princess MaeMae – lover of pets, food, swimming, & naps. She is just what we never knew we needed.
Saving the best for last, Blake:
Corgi Dad + Sports fanatic + Husband + Business Brain behind Fetch & Stay. You could say he’s the numbers & paperwork guy around here. With a long history of sales & business knowledge he is the ultimate reason for our business. When I was staring burn out from veterinary medicine right in the face he said, “Why don’t we open a dog daycare?” WHAT. I am a sit in my cozy comfort zone kind of gal & Blake is the impulsive, pull the trigger, let’s do this thing, no options type. Polar opposites but we balance each other very well. Without him, it would not be a reality. When he isn’t crunching numbers he’s at the gym, busy with friends, or hanging with me & the corgs. I am forever grateful for him & his encouragement.
Okay, that was long-winded but now you know us & know that Fetch & Stay is more than a business, it’s our heartbeat & way of providing more than just a dog boarding experience to the community & if you have made it to this point – THANK YOU! Now stay tuned for the for the good stuff, the dog stuff! If you have suggestions on certain topics we would love to hear them!
